What is EnglishSpace?
EnglishSpace is a free Internet resource for students and teachers of English as a Foreign, Second or Additional language. In EnglishSpace, students can learn English with the computer, with their friends and with their teachers. It costs nothing to join EnglishSpace and all the lessons are free!

Who can use EnglishSpace?
World ORT developed EnglishSpace for Additional Language (EAL) students in the United Kingdom aged between 11 and 16 years. Such students are often refugees from conflicts in Europe or Asia.

What can I learn in EnglishSpace?
EnglishSpace has quizzes, games, puzzles and exercises for you to practise reading, writing and listening to English. In EnglishSpace you can learn how to communicate with other English speakers and learners. If you are a beginner, pre-intermediate or intermediate student then EnglishSpace is for you.

How will I learn in EnglishSpace?
When you join EnglishSpace you become part of a global community of English language students and teachers. As a student, you can find friends across the world and work with them in EnglishSpace. As a teacher, you can organise groups of students, monitor their progress through the course and provide feedback to the group and individual learners. There are over 60 hours of interactive lesson materials in EnglishSpace for self-study or group work.
