EnglishSpace An overhead view of the EnglishSpace course. Designed to appeal to teenage learners, the course uses a 'space' metaphor to represent sections of the course. Virtual Communities EnglishSpace creates unique opportunities for collaboration between students. EnglishSpace's distributed model of language education helps build a virtual community of learners and educators. Core Materials EnglishSpace's collaborative methodology is underpinned by a core curriculum of language learning materials. Students have access to a wide range of resources, from games and quizzes to interactive projects as shown here. Characters As part of the framework for learning provided by EnglishSpace, learners are introduced to eight 'crew members' who guide them through the course. How Often? This activity from the first module focuses on one 'crew member'. Students must describe her daily routine - an exercise for present tense practise. Advice An interactive exercise where students must give advice and help the plant grow. Listening EnglishSpace includes audio and video animations. Here is a listening task which offers real-time feedback to student's answers.
